ARK Gloon Spawn Command

A shoulder-mounted charge pet with three switchable weapon modes: a damaging laser (Eyebeam), a Mesmerize beam that stops creature aggression for 30 seconds, and a Necrotic Mark spit that redirects all nearby wild creature aggro onto the marked target for 30 seconds. While on the shoulder it also passively camouflages the player, preventing wild creature targeting unless provoked. Gloon is a omnivore. Passive tame only: deflate its eyes by shooting them, wait for it to land, then feed it Basic Kibble or Plant Proto Species R Seeds. The name is a portmanteau of 'glow' and 'balloon,' and its design is inspired by Futurama's Hypnotoad — the second direct Futurama reference in ARK.

Switch between modes by pressing R (PC) / Square (PS4) / X (Xbox) with the Gloon Weapon equipped. Activate the current mode with Left-click or RT/R2/ZR. Slowfall is toggled from the radial wheel menu while the Gloon is on your shoulder. Camouflage is fully passive while shoulder-mounted. Use Necrotic Mark to redirect Revenant and other hostile mob aggro into a kill pile — invaluable for pulling packs into turret range or off teammates. Use Mesmerize for 30-second crowd-control windows during cave runs. Camouflage makes scouting deep cave sections nearly risk-free without triggering aggro. Its charge light suppresses Nameless and Reapers and disables their armor just like other charge pets. Be aware: charge light also attracts Seekers and boosts their damage and resistance.

Aberration cave runs, crowd-control in PvP (aggro redirection), scouting (camouflage), Nameless/Reaper suppression, Plant Species Z flashbang immunity.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon LostCharge_LanternPet_Char_BP_C to spawn a wild Gloon in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "LostCharge_LanternPet_Char_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "LostCharge_LanternPet_Char_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Gloon at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
