ARK Helicoprion Spawn Command

Can convert non-crafted looted quality items placed in its inventory into blueprints of the same item, with its Crafting Skill stat determining the success chance (hard-capped at 90%). If the conversion fails, the item is permanently destroyed. Conversion time scales with item quality: 10 seconds for Primitive, +10 seconds per tier, up to 60 seconds for Ascendant. Helicoprion is a carnivore. Taming requires dropping non-crafted quality equipment near it to trigger a minigame (10 prompts); the final prompt is a dismount that also feeds it Little Ratfish Treats. Tamed with Little Ratfish Treats as preferred food. Found in ocean biomes.

Place a non-crafted (looted, not player-made) quality item in the Helicoprion's inventory and wait for the conversion timer to expire. No keybind is required — the process is automatic. Equipping the Helicoprion Saddle converts its inventory into a functional Smithy for crafting and repairing items. Its tail-swipe attack (secondary attack) can stun targets; the Helicoprion itself is immune to being grabbed by Tusoteuthis. All levels should go into the Crafting Skill stat (renamed 'Conversion Success Rate') to push the success chance as close to the 90% cap as possible before attempting high-value conversions — losing an Ascendant item to a failed roll is very costly. Use it to convert repeatedly looted gear (e.g., boss-run saddles) into blueprints for mass production. The Saddle-as-Smithy makes it a mobile crafting station. It deals 3x damage to Tusoteuthis and cannot be grabbed by them.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Helicoprion_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Helicoprion in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Helicoprion_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Helicoprion_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Helicoprion at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
