ARK Griffin Spawn Command

Capable of a high-speed Dive Bomb: while flying in sprint mode, pitching sharply downward builds speed and the resulting impact delivers roughly 3x base landing damage; striking a target mid-dive before the attack completes converts it into a Dive Swipe dealing 10–15x base damage. Can carry two riders simultaneously, both of whom can use weapons while mounted. Griffin is a carnivore. Griffins are not breedable because they lack genders — a single tamed Griffin is permanent without replacement via breeding. Found naturally on Ragnarok. Knockout tame; torpor rises sharply near max so build an enclosure to prevent escape before it flees.

Left-click performs a standard claw swipe. To Dive Bomb, engage sprint flight (Shift + W by default) then pitch the camera sharply downward — the Griffin accelerates into a dive. Connecting with a target during the dive before the attack animation resolves converts the move into the far more damaging Dive Swipe. The Griffin has no radial-menu abilities; all attacks are direct keybind inputs. Because Griffins are not breedable (they have no gender), always tame the highest level possible — you cannot breed for stat improvements. Level Melee Damage to maximize Dive Bomb and Dive Swipe damage output, and Stamina to sustain prolonged aerial engagements. The two-passenger capacity means a pilot plus a weapon-wielding gunner for coordinated air attacks. Its flight speed and dive make it one of the fastest ground-to-air offense platforms available.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Griffin_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Griffin in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Griffin_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Griffin_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Griffin at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
