Spawn a tamed Beelzebufo at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

What does the Beelzebufo do in ARK?
Its tongue attack instantly kills most insects on contact and converts the corpses of Meganeura, Titanomyrma, Jug Bugs, and Glowbugs into large amounts of Cementing Paste rather than normal loot. It also inflicts Torpor on any creature its tongue hits. Beelzebufo is a carnivore. Tamed via knockout (tranq arrows effective) — be careful as its tongue attack can torpor the player. Found in swamp biomes. It can jump surprisingly high and swim, making it mobile in wetland environments.
How do you use the Beelzebufo's ability in ARK?
The tongue attack is the secondary attack — right-click (PC) / LT (Xbox) / L2 (PS). Fire at insect corpses or living insects to harvest Cementing Paste. The standard melee attack also harvests Chitin in large quantities from insect bodies. No radial menu needed for the tongue; it is a direct button press. Farm insects in swamp biomes — use the tongue on Meganeura and Titanomyrma swarms, then loot the paste. Each insect corpse yields 0–20 Cementing Paste regardless of your Melee Damage stat, so leveling Melee does not affect paste yield per corpse; instead level Health and Stamina to survive extended farm runs. Its long-range tongue is also useful for applying torpor to smaller taming targets without closing distance.

How do I spawn a tamed Beelzebufo at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Toad_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Beelzebufo at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
