gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

What does the Broodmother Lysrix do in ARK?
Continuously spawns Araneo spider minions throughout the fight, slows players and tames with a web attack that massively restricts movement, fires acid projectile attacks, and can inflict torpor damage. It is not tameable. Broodmother Lysrix is a n/a (boss, not tameable). Not tameable in any current version (it was tameable before patch v183.0, when this was removed). Summoned at Obelisks or Supply Crates on The Island and The Center using the required artifact set. The player or tame that lands the killing blow receives the difficulty-specific Trophy.
How do you use the Broodmother Lysrix's ability in ARK?
This is a boss, not a player mount — it is encountered in the Broodmother Arena on The Island and The Center, summoned at an Obelisk or Supply Crate using the required artifacts and tributes. There is no player activation of its abilities; they are AI-driven. Bring Megatherium as your primary fighters — they receive a strong Insect Killer buff that activates when killing Araneo minions, dramatically boosting their damage. Include one or two Yutyrannus for their Courage Roar buff. Focus DPS on the Broodmother herself while Megatherium handle the Araneo waves. The web attack restricts movement significantly, so avoid spreading tames across the arena.
What is the Broodmother Lysrix good for in ARK?
Progression gating — defeating the Broodmother on Gamma, Beta, and Alpha difficulties awards a Broodmother Trophy. All three Island boss trophies (Broodmother, Megapithecus, Dragon) are required to open the Tek Cave on The Island and for the Fenrisulfr encounter on Fjordur.

How do I spawn a tamed Broodmother Lysrix at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "SpiderL_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Broodmother Lysrix at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
