ARK Carnotaurus Spawn Command

A Headbutt attack that deals damage and inflicts a bleed debuff — reducing the target's health by 5% over 10 seconds. Wild Carnotaurus can be recruited by a Yutyrannus to fight as temporary allies for ~1 minute. Carnotaurus is a carnivore. Knockout-tamed; preferred food is Regular Kibble, with Raw Mutton as an effective alternative. Cannot be immobilized by bolas — this makes wild Carnotaurus dangerous in early game encounters.

Standard Bite via Left Click / RT / R2. Headbutt via Right Click / LT / L2 — use this on priority targets to apply bleed and create distance with its knockback effect. Both attacks share the same 0.67-second cooldown. Level Melee Damage, Stamina, and Movement Speed for a combat/hunting role. The headbutt's knockback is valuable for keeping dangerous melee threats at range. Bleed does not stack with other bleed sources (except Deinonychus). Its speed profile sits between Raptor and Rex, making it a capable mid-tier pursuit predator. Fits through most cave entrances, unlike larger carnivores.

Cave exploration, hunting and meat collection, mid-tier combat, swamp leech removal, local transport, guarding small settlements.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Carno_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Carnotaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Carno_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Carno_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Carnotaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
