Spawn a tamed Burrowbuck at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

What does the Burrowbuck do in ARK?
Digs underground warrens that function as a player-built fast-travel tunnel network across long distances without requiring Element. After digging a burrow, both the Burrowbuck and its rider become temporarily camouflaged — invisible to hostile creatures and enemies — from the displaced dirt. It can also lay concealed underground traps; if an enemy player or medium-sized predator steps over one, the burrow collapses, trapping and dismounting them while dealing damage. Burrowbuck is a herbivore. The fifth creature in the paid Fantastic Tames DLC for ARK: Survival Ascended. Passive tame — preferred food is Rockarrot, preferred kibble is Superior Kibble. It is tameable, rideable, and breedable.
How do you use the Burrowbuck's ability in ARK?
Burrowing and trap-laying are activated during gameplay; exact control bindings are not fully documented on the wiki, but the camouflage triggers automatically after a burrow is dug. The creature is highly mobile with large agile leaps and can kick up dirt clouds while fleeing to blind pursuers. Check in-game controls for the specific keys. Wear full Ghillie Armor and drink Cactus Broth before approaching a wild Burrowbuck to tame — this minimizes its aggro range. It is a passive tame requiring patience. Use the tunnel network as your primary escape and fast-travel system in contested zones. Lay traps at predictable enemy paths or base entrances. Its camouflage window is short, so pre-plan the escape route before activating.

How do I spawn a tamed Burrowbuck at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Jackalope_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Burrowbuck at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
