Its shell provides 80% damage reduction from all incoming attacks, making it one of the tankiest mid-tier creatures in the game. Legs and tail receive 50% damage reduction. Carbonemys is a herbivore. Knockout-tamed; preferred food is Regular Kibble. It is significantly faster in water than on land — treat it as a swimming tank, not a land mount.

How do you use the Carbonemys's ability in ARK?

The only active attack is a Bite via Left Click / RT / R2 / ZR. The shell damage reduction is entirely passive — no activation required. Swim to water to regenerate stamina rapidly.
