ARK Brontosaurus Spawn Command

Its tail swipe covers a 180-degree arc and is extraordinarily wide — close to reaching its own head — capable of harvesting hundreds of Berries from large bush patches in a single swing and knocking creatures down. It is one of only a few creatures large enough to equip a Platform Saddle, allowing an entire mobile base to be built on its back. Brontosaurus is a herbivore. One of the easiest Extra-Large Egg tames to set up; kibble tames it 8x faster than other foods. Produces Extra Large Eggs for kibble. Its tail swipe can accidentally aggro groups of wild creatures on berry runs — watch your surroundings.

The tail swipe is the secondary attack — right-click (PC) / LT (Xbox) / L2 (PS). The standard head attack and stomp are primary attacks. All attacks are direct-key, no radial menu needed. Platform Saddle structures can be built and interacted with while the Brontosaurus is moving and attacking normally. Point at dense bush clusters and chain tail swipes to gather 1,000+ Narcoberries or Mejoberries in a single pass. In ARK: Survival Ascended its berry harvesting was nerfed relative to Survival Evolved, but it remains a top-tier berry farmer. Level Melee Damage to increase harvest yield and combat effectiveness. Keep friendly fire OFF — its stomp and tail swipe hit allied tames standing nearby. The Platform Saddle allows you to place metal walls completely encasing the Brontosaurus for a mobile fortress.

Berry farming at scale (Narcoberries, Mejoberries), Thatch and Wood clearing, mobile base construction via Bronto Platform Saddle, land clearing (destroys trees and bushes in huge AoE), and protecting small creatures by standing over them to receive stomp damage instead.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Sauropod_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Brontosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Sauropod_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Sauropod_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). summon drops a wild Brontosaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
