The Relaxaurus Effigy is one of the new Pal Effigies added in Palworld 1.0, when the old Lifmunk Effigy system was reworked into per-Pal effigies. It's the Relaxaurus (the big laid-back Dragon/Water dinosaur Pal) one — a small glowing statue out in the world — its glow cycles through different colors rather than holding one, and picking one up grants Exploration EXP.

What does the Relaxaurus Effigy do?

Picking up a Relaxaurus Effigy grants Exploration EXP (our pickup paid +8,496). You then hand it in at the Statue of Power for a permanent player buff — the exact stat the Relaxaurus Effigy raises isn't documented yet this early in 1.0, so we're not going to guess it. The Lifmunk Effigy still raises Capture Power; in 1.0 it's simply one of many Pal Effigies.

Palworld 1.0 reworked the old Lifmunk Effigies into a Pal Effigy system — you now collect effigies of different Pals. What the Palworld Relaxaurus Effigy is (and what changed in 1.0)

It's a new 1.0 "Pal Effigy." Palworld 1.0 turned the single Lifmunk Effigy collectible into effigies of many Pals. The Relaxaurus Effigy is the Relaxaurus (the big, permanently unbothered Dragon/Water dino) version — a pastel statue with a glow that cycles through different colors — field-observed on our server, and handy for spotting: if a distant glow keeps changing color, it's this one.
It grants Exploration EXP. Picking one up gives Exploration EXP — our first pickup paid +8,496 — same system as the other Pal Effigies we're tracking on the all-effigies hub. The classic Lifmunk Effigy still raises Capture Power — it's just one of the Pal Effigy family now.
What it's actually for. Effigies aren't just an XP grab — you hand each one in at the Statue of Power for a permanent player buff, and every Pal's effigy boosts a different stat. We don't yet know which stat the Relaxaurus Effigy raises — it's this early in 1.0 and nobody's confirmed it, so we're not going to make one up. We'll update this the moment we've verified it on our own server. (New in 1.0: the Pal Nox's "Kuudere" skill pings nearby effigies.)
It hides in the rocks. Our first verified Relaxaurus Effigy sits on a ledge tucked against a canyon wall in the Dessicated Desert — easy to fly straight past. Scan the rock faces, not just the open sand.
Reading the coordinates. Each number pair is the in-game map X, Y. Open your map, hover until the readout up top matches, drop a marker, and glide over.
