The Lunaris Effigy is one of the new Pal Effigies added in Palworld 1.0, when the old Lifmunk Effigy system was reworked into per-Pal effigies. It appears as a small glowing white Lunaris statue in the world, and picking one up grants Exploration EXP.

What does the Lunaris Effigy do?

Picking up a Lunaris Effigy grants Exploration EXP (we recorded +3,968 from one pickup on a 1.0 server). You then hand it in at the Statue of Power for a permanent player buff — the Lunaris Effigy boosts Sphere Tracking (thrown spheres curve toward your target). The Lifmunk Effigy still raises Capture Power; in 1.0 it's simply one of many Pal Effigies.

Palworld 1.0 reworked the old Lifmunk Effigies into a Pal Effigy system — you now collect effigies of different Pals. The Lunaris Effigy is one of them: a small glowing white Lunaris statue out in the world, and grabbing one grants Exploration EXP. What the Palworld Lunaris Effigy is (and what changed in 1.0)

Straight facts, verified in-game — no launch-day guessing.

It's a new 1.0 "Pal Effigy." Palworld 1.0 turned the single Lifmunk Effigy collectible into effigies of many Pals. The Lunaris Effigy is the Lunaris (the white celestial Pal) one — which is why it glows a pale white.
It grants Exploration EXP. Picking one up gives Exploration EXP — we recorded +3,968 from a single pickup. That's different from the Lifmunk Effigy, which raises Capture Power at the Statue of Power (still very much a thing in 1.0 — it's just one of the Pal Effigy family now). It's the same collectible type as the new Pengullet Effigies and the golden Herbil Effigies.
What it's actually for. Effigies aren't just an XP grab — you hand each one in at the Statue of Power for a permanent player buff, and every Pal's effigy boosts a different stat. The Lunaris Effigy boosts Sphere Tracking, so thrown Pal Spheres curve toward your target (about +25% per level). (New in 1.0: the Pal Nox's "Kuudere" skill pings nearby effigies.)
It's a world collectible. The effigy sits as a small white glowing figure on a little stone pedestal, out in the open world. Walk up and press to collect. One-time grab.
Watch the cold. The one we've verified sits in a cold-weather stretch — you'll want cold resistance (warm gear or a Fire Pal) or the "Intense Cold" chip damage will wear you down before you reach it.
Reading the coordinates. Each number pair is the in-game map X, Y. Open your map, hover until the readout up top matches, drop a marker, and glide over.
