ARK Veilwyn Spawn Command

A small fox-like companion (Lost Colony DLC) that clones itself into a pack via the 'Call Friends' radial command, applying a stacking Freeze debuff (up to 30 stacks) with a dimension-hopping surprise attack. In Companion Mode it passively buffs the player and mount with one of three auras (5% speed, 5% damage, or 5% damage reduction), and provides active commands including a 15% speed burst (Tundra Swiftness, 2.5-min cooldown), a damage amplifier (Tundra Power, 25-sec cooldown), and a 150 HP heal to itself, the player, and mount over 2 seconds (Tundra Endurance, 40-sec cooldown). It can evolve into either a Malwyn or Solwyn. Veilwyn is a omnivore. Passive tamed by crouch-walking behind a wild Veilwyn until a 'Claim Veilwyn' prompt appears — if spotted, it clones itself and becomes extremely difficult to identify the real one among the clones. Lost Colony exclusive, added in patch 67.0 (June 20, 2025). Wild Veilwyns cap at 100 levels on official servers (2/3 of the standard 150 cap).

Set to Companion Mode via the radial menu — this unlocks all command abilities and grants the player a Veilwyn Whistle for remote commands. While in Companion Mode the Veilwyn cannot die; on 'death' it phases away and returns after 1 hour (shown as a player buff timer). Commands are issued via the Veilwyn's own radial menu or the Veilwyn Whistle: Call Friends clones it up to 6 times (each clone lasts 60 seconds, each adds +10% damage and +15% incoming damage in Companion Mode); Tundra Swiftness, Tundra Power, and Tundra Endurance are all active abilities with individual cooldowns. Clones transfer harvested resources back to the main Veilwyn. The Surprise Attack (dimension-hop, deals 11 damage plus Freeze stacks) fires at a 3.25-second interval automatically in combat. Use Companion Mode at all times for the survivability benefit (no permanent death) and the doubled damage output it grants. Keep the passive aura set to Defensive (5% damage reduction) for dangerous encounters, switching to Offensive for easier fights. Call Friends is powerful but increases damage taken per clone — use it cautiously in PvP. To evolve: accumulate the Adventure! buff to 100% by killing creatures in Lost Colony, then force-feed Pristine Vulpite for Solwyn or Corrupted Vulpite for Malwyn. Level Health and Damage for combat; Weight for using it as a death-courier for items.

Combat support (damage/speed/defense auras plus Clone pack); cave exploration (cannot permanently die in Companion Mode, clones add AoE pressure); early-game 'teleporter' (dies and respawns with the player at their bed, carrying items); fast travel support (Tundra Swiftness speed burst); solo healing (Tundra Endurance heals player and mount).

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon YoungIceFox_DinoCompanion_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Veilwyn in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "YoungIceFox_DinoCompanion_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "YoungIceFox_DinoCompanion_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Veilwyn at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
