ARK Vulture Spawn Command

The Vulture passively extends the spoil timer of meat in its inventory by 15x (4x for meat it harvests directly from corpses), functioning as a mobile meat preservation unit. It can be worn as a shoulder pet, where it attacks threats and auto-harvests meat from nearby corpses. Vulture is a carnivore (prefers spoiled meat; also accepts raw meat and raw fish meat). Passive tame only — place meat in a hotbar slot and press the Use key (E) when near it; must wait for its hunger bar to drop between feedings. Spawns in desert and arid biomes on Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Crystal Isles, Genesis Part 2, Lost Island, and Fjordur.

Passive — no activation key required. Equip as a shoulder pet via the radial menu or by walking up and pressing the interact key. Once shoulder-mounted, it automatically harvests meat from corpses and attacks nearby enemies. You can also whistle it to attack specific targets. Ensure its behavior is NOT set to Passive if you want auto-harvesting. The 15x spoil timer on meat stored in its inventory makes it vastly superior to standard storage for preserving meat without a Preserving Bin or Salt. Keep it shoulder-mounted during long hunts to passively collect and preserve raw meat. A group of 6-8 Vultures can efficiently clear cave fauna including Araneo and Pulmonoscorpius. It restores 10 HP per spoiled meat it consumes, giving it passive self-sustain.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Vulture_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Vulture in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Vulture_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Vulture_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Vulture at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
