ARK Acrocanthosaurus Spawn Command

Builds an Adrenaline meter by taking damage; at 100%, activating Adrenaline Mode recovers Stamina continuously, boosts Move Speed by 50%, and increases Bite damage and attack speed by 35%. Its Shield Stance reduces incoming damage by 40% and unlocks a Shoulder Bash that damages all structure types. Acrocanthosaurus is a carnivore (prefers exceptional kibble, then raw mutton, then raw prime meat). Immune to ranged tranquilizers — must be tamed via hand-feeding Narcotics when it roars. Cannot enter Adrenaline Mode while trapped by structures, which also blocks taming.

Shield Stance toggles with C (right stick on controller). While in Shield Stance, the secondary attack (right-click / LT / L2) fires a Shoulder Bash with knockback. The Taunt Roar and Adrenaline activation both use Space/A; the roar applies a taunt debuff to nearby creatures for 35 seconds, and once the Adrenaline meter is full that same button triggers Adrenaline Mode. Bite is left-click / RT / R2. Taming this creature requires a completely unique mechanic: it is immune to ranged tranquilizers — you must stand inside its mouth and press E to feed it Narcotics each time it roars in frustration. Do not trap it with structures nearby, as that prevents it from roaring. Let the Acro absorb hits to charge its Adrenaline meter before a fight, then unleash the damage-speed surge. Use Shield Stance when walking into turret fields or boss arenas — the 40% damage reduction stacks well. Level Health and Melee Damage primarily. Its passive Apex Hunter trait multiplies damage against smaller-drag-weight targets, so it shreds common mounts and wildlife. Pairs get a natural mate boost since they often spawn as opposite genders.

Boss fights (especially Broodmother — it has torpor immunity), tanking turrets, structure raiding with the Shoulder Bash, PvP brawling, hunting smaller creatures via Apex Hunter scaling.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Acrocanthosaurus_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Acrocanthosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Acrocanthosaurus_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Acrocanthosaurus_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Acrocanthosaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
