ARK Araneo Spawn Command

Can walk on walls and ceilings, deploy traversable web zip-lines between surfaces, and fire web shots that apply a stacking 'Webbed' debuff slowing and eventually immobilizing targets. Its bite injects venom that adds 10 Torpor over 10 seconds. After detaching from a surface, its next attack deals 50% bonus damage and applies maximum Webbed stacks (Ambusher passive). Araneo is a carnivore (prefers simple kibble). Takes zero fall damage. Standard knockout tame. Found primarily in underground caves, volcanic regions, and some surface zones. Cannot produce feces.

Wall and ceiling climbing use movement controls naturally. Web shots and their damage/torpor mode toggles are accessed via the primary and secondary attack keys plus C and X. The Ambusher bonus triggers automatically after any surface detach — intentionally drop from a wall before attacking to proc it. Web zip-lines are deployed and traversed via the Jump key interaction. Abilities function while mounted. Level Weight to scale web-tether pull strength. Level Melee Damage to increase web shot damage output. In caves, use wall-climbing to reach flanking angles then drop for the Ambusher bonus strike. The torpor-mode web shot assists with KO taming when you need to top off a target's torpor without dealing damage. Silk drops from webbed creatures when they are killed and harvested, so web targets before finishing them.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon SpiderS_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Araneo in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "SpiderS_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "SpiderS_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). summon drops a wild Araneo at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
