ARK Armadoggo Spawn Command

Operates as a Companion through a dedicated command system accessed via the Armadoggo Whistle item or by holding the Use button on the creature. Key commands include: Play Dead (85% damage reduction for 30 seconds, 30-second cooldown), Who's There (detects nearby creatures), Here Pup (instant recall regardless of distance, 120-second cooldown), and Free Me (removes handcuffs from the player, 30-second cooldown). In a group of allied Armadoggos, each additional member grants +10% melee damage and +5.5% damage resistance (up to 6 bonus members), and Pack Leaders gain +25% damage and +12.5% resistance. Armadoggo is a omnivore (prefers meat). Found exclusively on Extinction. Passive-tamed by dropping food on the ground near it and quickly petting it before it burrows. Cannot die in Companion Mode — burrows underground when critically hurt and respawns after 1 hour.

Open the radial/action UI by holding the Use button on the Armadoggo, or use the Armadoggo Whistle from your inventory or hotbar to issue commands remotely. Companion Mode must be active. Play Dead is particularly useful in combat — trigger it when the Armadoggo is being focused to protect it. Pack bonuses apply passively when multiple allied Armadoggos are nearby. Level Health and Damage for pack combat roles; level Weight for a cargo carrier using the Companion Rucksack (adds 25% weight capacity and preserves inventory on death). Equip gear slots (Camping Gear for temperature protection, Oxygen Tank for underwater breathing, Spykit for viewing wild creature health/torpor). Farm carnivore kills for a chance at Hex-Infected Junk maps. Cannot die in Companion Mode — it retreats underground and respawns after 1 hour, making it essentially immortal in the field.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Doggo_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Armadoggo in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Doggo_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Doggo_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Armadoggo at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
