Spawn a tamed Arthropluera at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

ARK Arthropluera FAQ — Ability, Uses & Spawn Commands

What does the Arthropluera do in ARK?
Spits acid that deals 30 damage and inflicts 10x damage multiplier against armor durability, rapidly destroying enemy gear. It also passively reflects 20% of melee damage back to attackers (40.5% from fists). Arthropluera is a carnivore. Tamed passively — apply Bug Repellant first to stop it aggroing you, then feed it periodically (prefers Broth of Enlightenment, also accepts Spoiled Meat and Raw Meat). Immune to torpor, cannot be tranquilized, and produces no feces.
How do you use the Arthropluera's ability in ARK?
The acid spit is the secondary attack — right-click (PC) / LT (Xbox) / L2 (PS) / ZL (Switch). The damage reflection is fully passive and always active. Enable Turret Mode to have it hold position and spit automatically at approaching enemies. Level Melee Damage to increase acid spit damage output. Level Health for survivability and Stamina for sustained offensive use. Keep it at range — the acid spit is most devastating in tight corridors like caves and bases, where the armor-shredding effect is hardest for enemies to escape. Turret Mode + inner-base placement makes it a threat without a rider.
What is the Arthropluera good for in ARK?
Cave exploration (it cannot drown and needs no oxygen), anti-personnel base defense (destroys armor fast), raiding (can destroy Stone, Metal, and Tek structures with melee), and passive trap defense in turret mode.
What is the Arthropluera spawn command in ARK?

How do I spawn a tamed Arthropluera at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Arthro_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Arthropluera at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
