ARK Argentavis Spawn Command

Equipping its saddle converts it into a mobile Smithy, allowing full crafting and gear repair while airborne. Eating a corpse triggers a Rapid Regeneration buff that restores health and stamina quickly for 20 seconds. It can carry creatures in its claws (up to 180 drag weight) and in its beak (up to 50 drag weight) simultaneously. Argentavis is a carnivore/carrion feeder (prefers superior kibble for taming). Found near mountain peaks and cold climates on most maps. One of the largest birds in the game with a 15–20-foot wingspan. Takes 50% additional projectile damage compared to most land creatures.

The Smithy function is accessed via the creature's inventory when the saddle is equipped — open its inventory to craft like a standard Smithy. The claw grab (secondary attack, air only — right-click / LT / L2) seizes a creature; press the same button to release. The beak grab (Special 1, air only) picks up smaller creatures. Rapid Regeneration triggers automatically by landing on and eating a corpse. Flight uses the Jump key to take off; press Jump again near the ground to land. The Argy's central advantage is that it does multiple jobs well simultaneously. For mining runs: level Weight heavily — its 50% weight reduction on metal, crystal, obsidian, stone, and polymer means you can carry far more raw materials than the numbers suggest. Pair with an Ankylosaurus by carrying the Anky to a metal node, letting it mine, then flying home. For taming: use claw grab to carry target creatures to a safe pen. For combat: trigger the Rapid Regeneration buff between fights by landing on a fresh kill. Note it takes 50% extra projectile damage — avoid turret fields when possible.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Argent_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Argentavis in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Argent_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Argent_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Argentavis at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
