ARK Yutyrannus Spawn Command

The Yutyrannus has two roars: a Courage Roar that buffs all nearby allied tames with +25% damage output and -20% incoming damage, and a Fear Roar that causes most wild and tamed creatures (except Giganotosaurus, Rex, Spino, Wyvern, Brontosaurus, Rock Elemental, Alpha creatures, bosses, and water creatures) to flee in terror — including creatures being ridden by enemy players. Yutyrannus is a carnivore. Knockout tamed; preferred kibble is Extraordinary Kibble. Spawns in snow biomes on The Island and other maps. Keep it away from the ocean edge in the north snow biome — it will get stuck in icebergs and cannot pathfind back to land.

While mounted: Courage Roar is activated with C (keyboard) / equivalent controller input. Fear Roar is activated with Right Mouse Button / LT / L2. There is also an Auto-Roar toggle in the radial menu that makes the Yutyrannus automatically alternate both roars roughly every 8 seconds — useful for unmounted support tames during boss fights. The Courage Roar's +25% damage / -20% damage-taken buff applies to all allied tames in range, making the Yutyrannus the single most impactful support creature in boss arenas. Bring one Yutyrannus per boss fight to buff your entire Rex/Therizinosaur army. The Fear Roar also increases damage taken by creatures it frightens, meaning you can use it to soften wild dinos before knockout-taming to knock them out faster with less ammo. Enable Auto-Roar in the radial menu when you want continuous buffing without manual input. Level Health to keep it alive in boss arenas; Melee Damage is secondary.

Boss fights (support buffer for Rex/Therizinosaur armies), PvP (Fear Roar scatters enemy ridden tames), taming assistance (frightened creatures take more torpor), general army support.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Yutyrannus_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Yutyrannus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Yutyrannus_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Yutyrannus_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). summon drops a wild Yutyrannus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
