ARK Tusoteuthis Spawn Command

Giant deep-sea squid that can grab and hold medium-to-large creatures (up to Rex and Mosasaur size) with its secondary attack, slowly building their Torpor (10 torpor/second regardless of melee damage) while leeching health back to the Tuso. Its ink jet (special 1 key) blinds and slows nearby enemies while boosting the Tuso's own movement speed by 30% for 8 seconds. It also passively produces Oil in its inventory over time. Tusoteuthis is a carnivore. Passive-tamed using Black Pearls as the primary food (also eats raw fish meat at greatly reduced effectiveness). Cannot grab other Tusoteuthis, Basilosaurus, or Liopleurodon. Drops Tusoteuthis Tentacles, a tribute required for non-gamma boss fights.

Primary attack (LMB/RT/R2) is a tentacle lash for 65 damage. Secondary attack (RMB/LT/L2) grabs a target — mash primary while holding to deal maul damage. Special 1 key fires the ink jet (50 stamina, 15-second cooldown). The grab applies 10 torpor/second passively to the held creature, making it a taming tool. Note: on PvE servers the grab cannot be used on other players' tames unless enabled by an admin. Cannot sprint while holding a creature. For taming, have the Tuso grab a distraction creature (Carbonemys with high-armor saddle recommended) and approach the target you want to tame from behind and above — the passive hitbox for feeding is the Tuso's beak within the tentacles. Use Black Pearls for taming the Tuso itself: it eats up to 50 at a time and can eat when at 90% of max food. Ink is best used as an escape tool — fire it and sprint away when losing a fight. The tentacles have long reach and wide AoE, making it efficient for mass-harvesting Anglerfish gel, Ammonite bile, Black Pearls from Eurypterids, and penguins on shore. Level Health and Melee Damage for combat; Weight for harvesting runs.

Deep ocean combat and exploration (immune to Electrophorus stun and Cnidaria full stun); aquatic taming platform (grab + torpor without damage); passive Oil production; mass-harvesting aquatic resources (Anglerfish gel, Black Pearls, Bio-toxin, Oil, Ammonite bile); Alpha creature killing via sustained grab and health leech.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Tusoteuthis_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Tusoteuthis in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Tusoteuthis_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Tusoteuthis_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Tusoteuthis at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
