ARK Troodon Spawn Command

Nocturnally aggressive pack hunter with a venomous bite that drains Stamina from any creature and inflicts a unique Troodon Paralysis Poison on human survivors, rapidly increasing Torpor (50 torpor per hit, refreshes but does not stack, countered by Fortitude). Has a Scout ability that pings nearby corpses, caches, traps, enemy players, tamed creatures, and wild creatures, displaying results on the player's HUD for 10 seconds. Troodon is a carnivore. Unique taming method: you must let the Troodon kill your own tames to build Taming Affinity — food and tranqs do nothing. At night this experience requirement is reduced to 40% of the daytime value. It always tames at 100% Effectiveness (50% bonus levels guaranteed). A single level-5 Titanosaur provides enough experience to tame any level of Troodon in one kill at night.

The paralyzing venom is passive on every attack — no activation needed. To use Scout: assign level points into Scout Cooldown or Scout Range instead of standard stats (these are level-up categories specific to the Troodon, not normal stats). The Scout has a 3,000-unit range, 60-second cooldown between uses, and is activated via the radial menu or a dedicated key while mounted. Pack Boost (night only) is passive when multiple allied Troodons are present: +33% melee damage and +11% damage resistance per extra pack member up to 4 members. Invest level points into Scout Range and Scout Cooldown for a recon tame rather than a combat one — the Scout is the Troodon's unique value. Taming at night reduces experience requirements by 60%, so always tame after dark. The Pack Boost is active only at night; a nighttime pack of 5 Troodons deals significantly more damage and is much harder to kill. Headshots deal 3x damage to wild Troodons — target the head when hunting.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Troodon_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Troodon in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Troodon_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Troodon_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Troodon at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
