Spawn a tamed Parasaur at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

On a server, every line needs the cheat prefix and a one-time enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword>. The class name Para_Character_BP_C is what ARK calls the Parasaur internally; its full blueprint path is /Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Para/Para_Character_BP.Para_Character_BP.

What does the Parasaur do in ARK?
Has a Threat Detection Scan (Right-Click / LT / L2 / ZL while mounted) that highlights nearby threats with a red aura, and a Turret Mode (activated via the radial menu) that makes the unmounted Parasaur automatically alert to approaching players and creatures with a visual and audible alarm. Parasaur is a herbivore. One of the few creatures that appears on every official ARK map. The Tek Parasaur was added permanently during Extinction Chronicles IV and spawns at 5% rate with 20% higher max levels.
How do you use the Parasaur's ability in ARK?
While mounted, press Right-Click / LT / L2 / ZL to perform an active scan that costs 50 stamina. To enable Turret Mode, open the radial menu while interacting with the unmounted creature and select it — the Parasaur will then auto-alert to nearby threats while consuming food. The Roar (C key / Right Stick) frightens small-to-medium creatures for several seconds. Turret Mode works like a living tripwire and is most useful as an early base alarm system — position it near your gates. Note that Turret Mode consumes food rapidly, so keep a feeding trough nearby. The scan while mounted is invaluable for scouting dangerous territory before committing. For travel use, level Weight, Speed, and Stamina. The Tek Parasaur variant spawns at a 5% rate at 20% higher levels than normal.
What is the Parasaur good for in ARK?

What is the Parasaur spawn command in ARK?

How do I spawn a tamed Parasaur at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Para_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Parasaur at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
Are there other versions of the Parasaur?
