ARK Pegomastax Spawn Command

A shoulder-mounted thief: when on your shoulder it can steal items from other players' inventories on contact, prioritizing the last inventory slot. It also auto-collects Gacha Crystals dropped nearby — that collection radius scales with the Pegomastax's level (minimum 5m at level 1, up to 90m at level 400). Pegomastax is a herbivore. Taming is a unique passive pickpocket variant — you must place the desired taming food in your last inventory slot and let the Pegomastax steal it from you, taking minor damage each cycle. In ASA it also picks up Gacha Crystals off the ground automatically.

To ride it as a shoulder pet, approach and press E to pick it up. Once on your shoulder it passively protects its carried items from weight and can be thrown at berry bushes (via the throw keybind) to harvest random seeds. The Gacha Crystal auto-collect is a passive, always-on behavior — no activation needed. The steal mechanic is also passive and activates on contact with other players. For Gacha Crystal collection, higher dino level (not a specific stat) directly expands the collection radius — breed/raise a high-level Pego for a large farm radius. For seed farming, throw it at berry bushes; it harvests far more seeds relative to berries compared to other creatures. In PvP, position in an enemy player's inventory range and the Pego will continuously pilfer items. Only the dino's total level (not individual stats) determines the crystal collection radius.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Pegomastax_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Pegomastax in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Pegomastax_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Pegomastax_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Pegomastax at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
