ARK Pelagornis Spawn Command

The only flying mount that can land and swim on water surfaces — flying into water causes it to transition into a surface-swimming state until you take off again. It also deals 10x its Melee Damage against small fish (Piranha, Sabertooth Salmon, Cnidaria, Coelacanth). Pelagornis is a piscivore (only eats fish meat). Wild Pelagornis flee from conflict; use a Bola to ground it before tranqing. It is the only flying mount that can land on water surfaces.

Water landing is passive and automatic — fly toward the water surface and the Pelagornis will land and begin swimming. To take off from water, use the jump key. The fish-killing bonus is a passive damage multiplier that activates automatically when attacking eligible fish. No radial menu ability needed for either mechanic. Tamed Pelagornis receive a 36.5% speed boost over wild ones, and can land in water to regenerate stamina safely away from land predators — making it one of the best long-haul scouts in the game. Level Stamina and Speed for scouting. For Organic Polymer farming, fly to snowy biomes and attack Penguins (target babies first for higher yield, as all Penguins flee when attacked). Note: the saddle has a high unlock level, which may limit early access. Only eats fish-based food (Raw Prime Fish Meat for taming).

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Pela_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Pelagornis in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Pela_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Pela_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Pelagornis at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
