ARK Meganeura Spawn Command

NOT tameable in the base game of ARK: Survival Ascended. In the official "No Untameables" mod (showcased by WildCard), it becomes a shoulder-mounted radar pet: pressing G scans the area and tags enemy players, enemy dinos, wild dinos, corpses, item caches, fertilized eggs, and explorer notes with unique color-coded icons. Meganeura is a carnivore (prefers spoiled meat in no untameables mod). Untameable in vanilla ARK: Survival Ascended. Wild ones spawn in swamps and caves and are aggressive. The No Untameables mod is the only way to obtain one as a tame.

Mod-only tame. Once shoulder-mounted, press G to trigger the radar scan. Radar settings can be customized via the radial wheel (Radar Settings sub-menu) to disable specific detection categories. The radar ability levels in three ways: scan range (up to 50 upgrades), scan speed (up to 10 upgrades), and scan interval (up to 20 upgrades). More accurate at identifying hostile wild dinos than a Parasaur because it checks team assignment and AI behavior trees rather than just carnivore status. Best uses: locating hidden item caches covered by foliage; tracking explorer notes (especially on Aberration where GPS is 2D but notes may be above/below you); detecting threats while exploring. Passive tame using Spoiled Meat in the mod.

Scouting and threat detection; explorer note hunting; lost item cache recovery; travel safety awareness. Vanilla-game wild Meganeura are aggressive and untameable — treat them as hazards.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Dragonfly_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Meganeura in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Dragonfly_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Dragonfly_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Meganeura at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.

Yes. Meganeura has 1 spawnable variant (Aberrant). Each has its own class name, in the builder's Variant dropdown and the variants table.
