ARK Mesopithecus Spawn Command

A shoulder pet that throws feces as a ranged attack, applying a slow, a movement speed reduction, and blocking all consumable healing effects (food, medical brew, etc.) on the target for a duration. It can also open thatch and wood doors by being whistled to attack them or making physical contact from the inside. Mesopithecus is a herbivore in-game (dossier says omnivore — wiki confirms the discrepancy). eats berries and other plant foods. Only tame that can produce Human Feces. Passive tame using berries or vegetables. Small enough to pass through standard doors; this plus the door-open ability makes it uniquely useful for base entry in PvP.

Carry it on your shoulder — it attacks and throws feces automatically while you ride another mount (acts as an autonomous gunner). For door opening, dismount, whistle it to attack, or let it physically contact the door from the inside. The turret mode lets it auto-throw feces at enemies within range without player input. Equip a helmet (same slot as saddle) for extra damage resistance. Passive tame: place food in far-right hotbar slot and press E when the prompt appears. The consumable-healing block from feces is the core PvP value — it counters Medical Brew, stimulant, and food healing during fights. Auto-harvests nearby bushes when not mounted and when its weight is below 50%. Only half its inventory weight is transferred to your character while shoulder-mounted, so level its Weight to carry more without slowing you. Despite the dossier labeling it omnivore, it is effectively herbivore in-game and eats berries.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Monkey_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Mesopithecus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Monkey_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Monkey_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Mesopithecus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
