ARK Mosasaurus Spawn Command

The Mosasaurus has the second-highest health and damage of any aquatic creature and accepts a Platform Saddle, allowing players to build a full mobile underwater base or war platform on its back. Mosasaurus is a carnivore. Knockout-tamed; preferred food is Exceptional Kibble. Taming is difficult — luring it into a cave it cannot fit through and shooting with a crossbow is recommended, or using a Tusoteuthis to grab and exhaust it first. Base health is 3600 (+432 per level).

Left-click / RT / R2 / ZR to bite (100 damage, 0.3s cooldown). The Platform Saddle is equipped like any saddle (saddle unlocks at level 78); structures built on it move with the creature. No special radial-menu abilities — combat and utility are entirely mount-based. Level Health and Melee Damage for combat. Level Weight and Movement Speed for transport. Its poor turning radius limits consistent damage output — position it so it can lunge straight at targets rather than circling. Unlike most aquatics, tamed Mosasaurs do not attract Cnidaria jellyfish, making deep-sea runs far safer.

Deep ocean combat and exploration, Bio Toxin farming, heavy resource transport (Oil, Crystal) from deep-sea nodes, and as a mobile underwater base platform in PvP.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Mosa_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Mosasaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Mosa_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Mosa_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Mosasaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
