Nameless emerge from the ground in groups whenever a survivor lacks active Charge Light nearby. An alpha Nameless can call a Subterranean Reaper King if left alive long enough. They also burrow underground when injured to recover HP, and ignore camouflage from Pachyrhinosaurus and Rock Drake. Nameless is a carnivore. Found in Aberration's bioluminescence (blue) and element (red) zones, Genesis Part 1, and Genesis Part 2. They are entirely untameable. A charging Nameless alpha will summon a Subterranean Reaper King if not killed in time.

How do you use the Nameless's ability in ARK?

Not tameable — the wiki states all domestication attempts have failed. As a threat: they are passive when Charge Light is present and aggressive the moment it drops. Countering them requires keeping a Charge Lantern deployed or having a light-emitting pet (e.g., Bulbdog, Glowbug). They can also emerge from inside structures and through platform-saddle floors. As an enemy, prevent encounters by keeping a charge pet active at all times in Aberration's bioluminescence and element zones. If caught without light, head to a Charge Node or Plant Species Z to weaken them and slow their regeneration. A Basilisk is effective offensively since its poison bypasses Nameless armor.
