ARK Microraptor Spawn Command

Leaps at mounted riders to knock them off their mount and stuns them for 10 seconds. It glides short distances using its feathered limbs, and as a shoulder pet it attacks from your shoulder passively while you move. Microraptor is a carnivore (taming food: rare flower, rare mushroom — despite carnivore classification). Spawns in the Redwood Forest. At level 150, only 1 Rare Flower is needed to fully tame it. Wild Microraptors target weaker creatures and mounted riders specifically, ignoring the mount itself.

As a tame, whistle attack on an enemy rider — the Microraptor will automatically target and leap at the rider (not the mount) to dismount and stun them. As a shoulder pet it attacks nearby targets autonomously within range. Pack boost is passive: 2+ Microraptors nearby grant each one +25% Melee Damage and +10% damage resistance per extra member, up to 4 bonus members (+4 total for a group of 5). Tame passively: place Rare Flower in far-right hotbar slot, approach, press E. Its primary PvP value is the 10-second stun after dismounting a rider — whistling it at an enemy mount opens the target to immediate gunfire. Only half its inventory weight counts toward your carry limit while shoulder-mounted, so it can hold spare gear. Level Melee Damage for more effective shoulder attacks and pack-boost scaling. A level 150 costs only 1 Rare Flower — extremely accessible for new players.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Microraptor_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Microraptor in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Microraptor_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Microraptor_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Microraptor at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
