ARK Megaraptor Spawn Command

A Solo Damage buff activates passively when no other Megaraptor is nearby, granting +66% damage output and +33% damage resistance. It can enter Hunt Mode, deploying a green or gray smog to obscure vision before pouncing. It also has a double jump. Megaraptor is a carnivore. One of only three ARK creatures with a double jump (after Managarmr and Bloodstalker). Tamed via the unique Altar ritual using only a Torch — no tranq arrows or kibble. Ninth creature to win the official ARK Creature Vote. Found on Valguero.

Solo buff is passive — no activation needed; just keep it without a second Megaraptor nearby. Hunt Mode and camouflage are part of wild behavior but persist when tamed; the smog signals an impending pounce. Double jump is triggered with a second Space/jump input mid-air. Taming is ritual-based: locate its Altar (a spire of carcasses near its spawn), equip a Torch, interact with the altar to lock into the taming zone, then swing the torch at the Megaraptor before it strikes you. Each successful torch swing applies torpor. Run it solo to maintain the full damage and resistance buffs — do not pair with a second Megaraptor or the buff drops. Double jump makes it excellent for cave traversal where it fits through most passages. Level Melee Damage for maximum ambush burst. Camouflage and silent movement make it strong for PvP flanking and stalking.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon ValMegaraptor_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Megaraptor in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "ValMegaraptor_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "ValMegaraptor_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Megaraptor at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
