ARK Manta Spawn Command

Its Tail Stab primary attack has an armor penetration coefficient of 0.4, meaning it deals disproportionately higher damage against armored targets (saddles, flak armor, etc.). It can also jump above the water surface to evade obstacles, though it loses health rapidly while airborne. Manta is a piscivore (anglergel for taming; standard meat once tamed). Passive tamed with AnglerGel — but it is hostile and aggressive, making passive taming frustrating. Using a Basilosaurus nearby pacifies them, which is the recommended taming approach. Spawns in groups of 2–4 in offshore deep water. Loses health rapidly if it leaves the water.

Tail Stab: primary attack button (left-click / RT / R2 / ZR) — 28 damage with 0.4 armor coefficient, costs 5 stamina, 0.967-second interval. Jump: jump key while swimming to leap above the surface — use sparingly as health depletes while airborne. No radial menu abilities. All use is while mounted in water. Level Melee Damage to amplify the armor-penetration advantage against geared opponents. Level Speed for hit-and-run tactics. For exploration/transport, level Weight. Passive taming with AnglerGel (dropped by Anglerfish) — use a Basilosaurus nearby to pacify wild Mantas (they become docile near it), making taming significantly easier. Spawns in groups of 2–4, so taming a school is viable for a combat pack.

Underwater PvP (armor-penetrating Tail Stab); fast aquatic exploration and scouting; underwater hit-and-run combat; navigating shallow water inaccessible to larger sea creatures; pack combat (tame a group).

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Manta_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Manta in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Manta_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Manta_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Manta at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
