Spawn a tamed Gigantopithecus at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

What does the Gigantopithecus do in ARK?
Can launch its rider in the direction of the camera (Rider Launch), and passively auto-harvests nearby bushes for fiber when unmounted and below 50% weight capacity. Attacks degrade enemy armor durability, useful in PvP. Gigantopithecus is a herbivore. Passive hand-feed taming only — requires player level 30, food in the far-right hotbar slot, and crouching to avoid triggering its aggression. It can traverse ziplines like a Ravager.
How do you use the Gigantopithecus's ability in ARK?
Right-click (LT/L2) activates Rider Launch, catapulting you in the camera direction — hold to aim. Left-click for the standard hit, C for the Gather move that collects fiber from bushes. Auto-harvest is fully passive when unmounted. Helmet equipping is done through the creature's inventory slot like any armor. Use Rider Launch in combination with a Glider Suit to cross walls or reach elevated positions without destroying structures. Level Health for tanking and Melee Damage for combat effectiveness (its AOE knockback scales with melee). The 3.5x headshot multiplier means it is vulnerable — reposition frequently in PvP. Equip non-Tek helmets to add damage resistance. Small enough for cave travel while still dealing significant damage.

How do I spawn a tamed Gigantopithecus at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Bigfoot_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Gigantopithecus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
