ARK Dimetrodon Spawn Command

Radiates a passive insulation aura of 90 Hypothermic and Hyperthermic insulation when standing near it, which decays with distance (similar range to an Air Conditioner). Crucially, this insulation value scales directly with the Dimetrodon's Melee Damage stat — a high-damage Dimetrodon can surpass the output of any single Air Conditioner by a large margin. Dimetrodon is a carnivore. Knockout tame; preferred food is Regular Kibble or Raw Fish Meat. Found in swamp biomes. Ignored by Leeches when tamed (a passive swamp-creature trait). Its Oxygen stat does not exist, making it one of the only warm-body creatures usable as an underwater egg incubator.

Fully passive — no activation required. Simply place the Dimetrodon near eggs or near yourself for the temperature benefit. Drop eggs close to it; the insulation applies to nearby eggs automatically. Multiple Dimetrodons stack their insulation. Set it to Passive and weigh it down with resources to keep it from moving off its spot. Level Melee Damage exclusively for maximum insulation output — this is the single most impactful stat. At roughly 1,100% melee damage, one Dimetrodon can incubate even Wyvern Eggs, which require extreme heat. Two stacked Dimetrodons with leveled melee cover almost any egg. Unlike Air Conditioners, Dimetrodons are portable, require no electricity, and work underwater (no Oxygen stat). Wild Dimetrodons also provide insulation, making them usable before taming. Torpor drops extremely fast (approx. 25/sec at level 1) — have large quantities of Narcotics or Biotoxin ready when taming.

Egg incubation (especially Wyvern eggs), portable temperature regulation, insulation for survivors in extreme-weather environments.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Dimetro_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Dimetrodon in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Dimetro_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Dimetro_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Dimetrodon at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
