ARK Deinosuchus Spawn Command

The Giga Bite is the signature ability: hold right-click / LT / L2 to charge a meter above the hotbar, then release to deliver a bite scaling up to 425 damage at 100% charge. At 100% charge it inflicts the 'Fractured' (Broken Bones) debuff — increasing damage taken from all sources and dealing percent-based damage per second (like a bleed) if the target moves. A Tail Swipe (special 1 key, 5s cooldown) deals 70 damage on land. Normal Bite (left-click) deals 55 damage. Deinosuchus is a carnivore. Passive tame only: wait for it to bask with its mouth open, then run up and place food (Superior Kibble preferred) into its mouth — a Ghillie Suit makes the approach much easier. Added to ARK via the ARK Additions mod. Scares Piranhas passively while swimming. Genesis Ascended (July 2026) added an X-Deinosuchus biome variant — wiki-verified spawn class, not yet tested in-game.

Giga Bite: hold right-click / LT / L2 to charge the on-screen meter, release at 40%+ to fire (100% for the Fractured debuff). The meter appears above the hotbar — watch it, do not release early for max effect. Tail Swipe: land-only, special 1 key, 5s cooldown. It also has two swim modes: surface swimming (like a raft) and free diving — toggle with the crouch key while in water. Level Health and Melee Damage. The Giga Bite's Broken Bones debuff is most devastating against large targets — Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Titanosaurs take percent health damage just by moving after being hit. In PvP, it hard-counters turret soakers like Stegosaurus: afflicted creatures must choose between staying in turret fire (taking boosted damage) or retreating (taking bleed damage). Drag weight of 300 means it can enter boss arenas. Head has 50% damage reduction of all types; body also reduces projectile damage substantially.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Deinosuchusasa_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Deinosuchus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Deinosuchusasa_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Deinosuchusasa_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Deinosuchus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
