Spawn a tamed Deathworm at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

On a server, every line needs the cheat prefix and a one-time enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword>. The class name Deathworm_Character_BP_C is what ARK calls the Deathworm internally; its full blueprint path is /Game/ScorchedEarth/Dinos/DeathWorm/DeathWorm_Character_BP.DeathWorm_Character_BP.

What does the Deathworm do in ARK?
Burrows underground and moves as a sand heap, then erupts from below to attack with a devastating bite (225 damage). It cannot be tamed. Wild Deathworms are torpor-immune and spawn consistently at level 1. Deathworm is a carnivore. Cannot be tamed — the wiki states 'attempting to tame Khorkoi will almost certainly result in failure and a very painful death.' Immune to torpor. Comparable in size to a Titanosaur and always spawns at level 1 with consistent stats.
How do you use the Deathworm's ability in ARK?
Not tameable — Deathworms are a kill target only. Wild ones alternate between burrowed (sand heap) and emerged states. They attack when a player or creature enters their range. Ability cycling (Bite / Bury / Dig Out) is AI-driven. To hunt them: use a Rex or Wyvern as a distraction while attacking from range, or use a Thylacoleo to apply bleed while the worm is still surfacing. Megatherium's insect-kill bonus is effective. Rock Elementals tank their hits best. The key loot is Deathworm Horns, which drop at 100% and are required for crafting.
What is the Deathworm good for in ARK?
Source of Deathworm Horns (100% drop, required crafting material), Keratin, Hide, Raw Meat, and special loot including Black Pearls, Organic Polymer, Leech Blood, and AnglerGel. Found on Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, and Lost Island.

How do I spawn a tamed Deathworm at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Deathworm_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Deathworm at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
