The Ice Cave Map & Location
Artifacts of the Devourer + Clever · Northwest
Lat 22.3, Lon 26.8
The Ice Cave on the northwestern side of the map is a two-for-one — it holds both the Devourer and the Clever artifacts. It's a dangerous cave that demands cold protection and SCUBA gear, since you'll need to swim to reach both artifacts.
Once inside, you'll reach a pool of water — swim through and head down to find the path splits in two. The left path leads to the Clever, the right path leads to the Devourer, each sitting in its own large open chamber.
Pro tip: Grab both in one trip — they share the entrance, so there's no reason to run this brutal cold cave twice. Keep your cold resistance topped up; the freeze does steady damage the whole time you're down in the water.
The Lava Cave Map & Location
Artifacts of the Massive + Strong · Lava Island (North)
Lat 15.2, Lon 60.1
The Lava Cave on the north side of Lava Island is the other double-artifact cave, holding the Massive and the Strong — potentially the most challenging pair to collect. Heat-resistant gear is mandatory.
Head straight in until you find a vertical drop, descend carefully, and continue right to a fork. Left path → Strong: keep favoring the left side through a few random splits to reach a final chamber where the Strong sits among trees and foliage. Right path → Massive: proceed through ruins and structures, then down into a lava-filled area to find the Massive among altars.
Pro tip: Like the Ice Cave, both artifacts share this entrance — run the left path and the right path in one trip. The vertical drop near the start is unforgiving, so a grappling hook saves you from a lava-bath restart.

The Underground World (Artifact of the Pack)
Hidden underwater biome · Entrance ~48.8, 49.1 · Best red-crate farm on the map
The Underground World is The Center's showpiece cave — a massive subterranean biome with forests, waterfalls, a "mini sun," lava, and cliffs, hidden inside the map's underwater biome. It holds the Artifact of the Pack, and it's widely considered the best red loot crate farm on The Center, with guaranteed red crates near the artifact chamber.
Enter via the cave at 48.8, 49.1. When you reach a pool, swim around it to the left and take the stairs up to the bridge. That leads to another chamber — take the path on the right and go straight until you reach the lava chamber holding the Pack (and the red crates).
Despite the warm, sunlit look, the area simulates arctic temperatures, so bring cold-proof gear or food. You'll also want SCUBA gear (or a high oxygen stat) for the deeper entrances, plus fall-mitigation since there are real drop hazards.
Pro tip: This is your red-crate run — yellow and blue crates appear in the outer sections, but the guaranteed reds near the Pack chamber are what you're here for. Note the Underground World does not carry the usual 6× cave damage multiplier, so it's more forgiving on your tames than most artifact caves.
Artifact of the Skylord Map & Location
Western snowy cave (frozen T-Rex landmark)
Lat 59.6, Lon 20.7
Another snowy/icy cave, this one on the western side of the map at 59.6, 20.7. Make sure you have cold resistance and swimming gear before heading in. Take the path on your right, past the distinctive T-Rex frozen in ice, follow it while avoiding the creatures inside, and you'll find the Skylord waiting behind a rock.
Pro tip: The frozen T-Rex is your landmark that you're on the right track — if you don't pass it, you took the wrong fork. Cold management matters more than combat here.
Artifact of the Hunter Map & Location
Lava Island cave (North)
Lat 20.2, Lon 46.1
One of the easiest artifacts to find on The Center, on Lava Island to the north at 20.2, 46.1. It's a simple grab, but the creatures inside still hit hard, so bring a decent armor set and a high-level weapon.
Head inside, and when you reach the clearing with a loot crate in the center of the room, follow the right wall straight ahead. Stay along that cave wall and follow the path straight through until you reach the artifact at the back.
Pro tip: Easy enough to be a good first Center artifact for a fresh character — just don't underestimate the spawns. Clear the room, then grab and go.
Artifact of the Devious Map & Location
Under the NE floating island
Lat 41.4, Lon 28.9
The Devious is just underneath the large floating island on the northeastern side of The Center at 41.4, 28.9. While you can reach it from the top of the island with a flyer, the easy way is to use your flyer to find the opening underneath the island, then follow the ramp straight to the artifact.
Pro tip: A flyer makes this one of the fastest grabs on the map. The underside approach skips the whole top-of-island navigation — just fly up under it and follow the ramp.
Artifact of the Cunning Map & Location
Ice Castle (West, under Green Obelisk)
Lat 35.1, Lon 18.0
The Cunning is in the Ice Castle on the western side of the map at 35.1, 18.0, reached easily with a flying tame. Fly to the location and head underneath the Green Obelisk to find the small Ice Castle. The artifact is toward the back inside.
Pro tip: One of the easiest on the map — the Green Obelisk is an unmissable landmark, and the castle is right under it. Pair this with the Devious for a quick two-artifact flyer loop on the map's west/northeast.
The Jungle Cave Map & Location
Artifact of the Immune · Center of the map
Lat 47.8, Lon 58.0
The Immune is in the Jungle Cave in the center of the map. There are several entrances, but the recommended one is at 47.8, 58.0. Once inside, you'll need a swimmer and an oxygen source — dive into the water and swim right down to the bottom.
The artifact is the tricky part: the Immune floats in between grass/foliage under the water, so look around carefully at the bottom rather than expecting it on a pedestal. It blends into the underwater plants.
Pro tip: Lazarus Chowder extends your underwater time if you don't have SCUBA. The artifact hiding in the foliage is the #1 reason people think this cave is "broken" — it's there, just camouflaged. Sweep the bottom slowly.
Artifact of the Brute Map & Location
Ocean — undersea ledge (Southeast)
Lat 67.1, Lon 88.8
The Brute isn't in a cave at all — it's in the ocean at 67.1, 88.8, so bring a strong aquatic tame like a Shastasaurus for the swimming. Once at the coordinates, swim straight down and you'll spot the artifact on a random ledge on one of the undersea rock formations.
Pro tip: It's an easy grab once you're there — the swim is the only obstacle. Turning off fog/clouds in your settings dramatically improves underwater visibility, and watch for wild sea dinos on the descent.
