ARK Pachyrhinosaurus Spawn Command

Releases two distinct pheromone clouds from its nostrils: a Calm Essence that makes most medium-and-smaller wild creatures completely ignore it (and its rider) for 20 seconds, and a Rage Essence that sends nearby medium creatures into a frenzy, forcing them to attack the Pachyrhinosaurus for 20 seconds. Pachyrhinosaurus is a herbivore. Preferred taming food is Bug Repellant — 77 units equals over 300 advanced crops, making it a mid-to-high cost tame. Found on The Island, Ragnarok, Extinction, and Crystal Isles.

Calm Essence is activated with Right-Click / LT / L2 / ZL (costs 75 stamina, 30-second cooldown). Rage Essence is activated with the C key / Right Stick on console (costs 75 stamina, 7.5-second cooldown). Both are used while mounted. Neither is in the radial menu — they are direct keybinds. For turret soaking, level Health heavily; the Pachyrhinosaurus has a 0.25 damage multiplier on its head, making it exceptionally durable against auto-turrets — bring Sweet Vegetable Cakes for sustained healing. For bog traversal, use Calm Essence to pacify predators around you without engaging them. The Rage Essence is best used to pull wild creatures into a trap or create a diversion. Aim tranq arrows at the body when taming, not the head — the head has reduced torpor. Crossbow outperforms a longneck rifle here because torpor drains quickly.

Turret soaking (PvP base raids), safe traversal through dangerous biomes (especially the bog), distracting and funneling wild creatures into taming traps, gathering berries / thatch / wood / silk / rare flowers, and two-player mounted travel (saddle includes a passenger seat).

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Pachyrhino_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Pachyrhinosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Pachyrhino_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Pachyrhino_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Pachyrhinosaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
