ARK Cryolophosaurus Spawn Command

Two ranged attacks: Left Click fires a torpor-inducing cryo-liquid glob that knocks out targets; Right Click exhales a freezing breath that either freezes enemies (triggering Icebreaker on the Cryo) or coats allies in a frost layer that grants high damage resistance at the cost of movement speed. Upon freezing or detecting an unconscious creature, the Cryolophosaurus enters Icebreaker state (+30% move speed, +15% damage, 30-second duration, 75-second cooldown). Cryolophosaurus is a carnivore. Unique self-freeze taming: shoot the Cryo in the mouth while it uses its freeze breath to cause it to freeze itself, then approach and feed passively. Found in cold/snow biomes. The Icebreaker buff is signified by glowing body patterns and heavier breathing — a visible visual cue that the buff is active.

Left Click / RT / R2 for the spit glob — use this to apply torpor at range for taming or combat. Right Click / LT / L2 for the freeze breath — aim at enemies to freeze and trigger Icebreaker on yourself, or aim at allied tames to give them the frost resistance coating. Icebreaker activates automatically when a frozen or unconscious creature is detected nearby — no additional input required. The Cryo is tamed by shooting it in the mouth during its own freeze-exhale animation — this causes it to freeze itself and become feedable. Because its base damage is low, it can apply torpor to wild creatures with minimal risk of killing them, making it exceptional as a taming mount. Frozen targets take 15% more damage from Cryo attacks; sleeping targets take 50% more — chain the torpor glob into melee attacks for maximum damage output. Level Melee Damage to extend glob effectiveness and Icebreaker damage output.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Cryolophosaurus_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Cryolophosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Cryolophosaurus_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Cryolophosaurus_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Cryolophosaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
