ARK Rock Drake Spawn Command

The Rock Drake can climb walls and ceilings vertically (like the Megalania), glide at high speed by holding Sprint while airborne, and activate a full active camouflage (C key) that makes it and its rider invisible to all wild creatures — including Nameless, as long as no charge light is present. While gliding, it can pounce to a nearby surface to dash forward and land precisely. Rock Drake is a carnivore. Obtained exclusively by hatching stolen Rock Drake Eggs found in the nesting grounds deep in Aberration. Hatchlings eat only Nameless Venom until the Juvenile stage. Cannot be tamed by knockout. Wild drakes spawn with camouflage active and deactivate it only when they acquire a target. Gets a buff when encountering Reaper Kings and Queens in the wild.

Wall Climb: press Right-click/L2/LT while near a climbable surface to toggle climb mode. Glide: press Space to leave a surface and hold Sprint to glide — stamina does not regenerate while airborne. Camouflage/Cloak: press C to toggle; the drake and rider become invisible to wild creatures, but stamina drains over time while active and a faint shimmer outline remains visible to players who look closely. Pounce: while gliding, aim at a surface within ~20 foundations and Left-click when the blue crosshair appears — the drake dashes to that surface and automatically engages climb mode if applicable. Deactivate cloak before entering charge light or Nameless will detect you. The cloak is the single most valuable ability — use it to sneak past Reapers and Nameless in the deepest Aberration biomes. For egg stealing, cloak the drake, dismount near a nest, grab an egg on foot, remount, and pounce away before the nest guards react. Wall climbing + gliding makes Rock Drakes the fastest Aberration traversal mount by a significant margin. Journeys that take hours on foot take minutes. Hatchlings must be fed Nameless Venom exclusively until adulthood — stockpile it before hatching. Egg-stolen (not knockout-tamed).

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon RockDrake_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Rock Drake in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "RockDrake_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "RockDrake_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Rock Drake at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
