Spawn a tamed Raptor at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

On a server, every line needs the cheat prefix and a one-time enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword>. The class name Raptor_Character_BP_C is what ARK calls the Raptor internally; its full blueprint path is /Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Raptor/Raptor_Character_BP.Raptor_Character_BP.

ARK Raptor FAQ — Ability, Uses & Spawn Commands

What does the Raptor do in ARK?
The Raptor can Pounce on a target (Right-click/LT/L2/ZL), pinning it in place so it cannot move while the Raptor continues attacking. When three or more allied Raptors are together, the highest-level one becomes Pack Leader and gains a buff increasing melee damage by 25% and damage resistance by 12.5%; all pack members stack cumulative bonuses up to +4 based on pack size. Raptor is a carnivore. Knockout-tamed with Simple Kibble or Raw Mutton as preferred foods. Bolas are highly effective for immobilizing them. Raptors have very low torpor tolerance, making knockouts quick. Found across nearly all maps — The Island, Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Extinction, Fjordur, and more — typically near shores or deep jungle in packs of 2+.
How do you use the Raptor's ability in ARK?
Bite with Left-click. Pounce with Right-click/LT — this pins smaller creatures and survivors. As Pack Leader, trigger the Pack Roar with C/Right Stick (costs 5 stamina) to buff up to 6 allied Raptors for 45 seconds, granting increased damage, speed, and resistance. Jump with Spacebar/A. The pack leader buff is passive — just keep three or more together and the highest-level one gets it automatically. Run packs of 5+ Raptors for maximum pack bonuses (+4 cumulative). Use Pounce to pin fast-moving players or small creatures for follow-up attacks from packmates. Bola the Raptor before taming to keep it still. Headshots deal 3x damage during the knockout process. Avoid using in water — Raptors are poor swimmers. Level Melee for combat packs or Speed for scouting. Good starter combat mount due to low resource investment.

How do I spawn a tamed Raptor at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Raptor_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Raptor at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
Are there other versions of the Raptor?
Yes — Raptor has 4 spawnable variants (Aberrant, Tek, Alpha, X-Raptor). Each has its own class name, listed with copy-paste commands in the variants table above.
