ARK Karkinos Spawn Command

Dual independent claw grabs: it can grab and hold two separate creatures simultaneously using each claw independently, then throw them in a chosen direction. It also reduces incoming turret damage by 80% and takes only 0.8x damage from bullets, and can perform vertical jumps from underwater. Karkinos is a carnivore; prefers exceptional kibble. after taming, spoiled meat is eaten first and provides more food/health than raw meat. Requires Catapult Turrets, Cannons, or rocket launchers to tame — standard tranquilizers and torpor do not work. Found in water systems on Aberration, Valguero, Genesis, Crystal Isles, Fjordur, Ragnarok, and Astraeos. Immune to radiation. Cannot be grabbed by a Quetzal if it is already carrying another Karkinos.

Grab with each claw via left mouse button and right mouse button independently (PC), or L2 and R2 on console. Hold C (or Right Stick on console) then release to throw and aim the direction. The bullet damage reduction and turret resistance are passive. The jump works on land and from underwater — no special activation beyond the standard jump input. Level Health and Melee Damage for combat, Weight for transport and resource hauling. Use one claw to hold an alpha Nameless while fighting respawning Nameless with the other claw — efficient venom farming on Aberration. Its 80% turret damage reduction makes it one of the best PvP raid mounts against conventional auto-turrets (weaker against Tek turrets). Zero turn radius and jumping make positioning highly unpredictable in fights.

PvP raiding (turret tanking), creature transport (carries two tames at once over rough terrain), Aberration venom farming (Nameless alpha hold + kill cycle), underwater exploration (no oxygen stat, walks underwater indefinitely), moving harvesting animals (Ankylosaurus, Moschops) to hard-to-reach resource nodes.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Crab_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Karkinos in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Crab_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Crab_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Karkinos at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
