ARK Kentrosaurus Spawn Command

Tail Spike Impale with automatic damage reflection: its tail attack (42 damage) pierces and briefly traps small to medium creatures, applying a bleed that deals 10% of the target's max health over 15 seconds and prevents healing. Passively, it reflects a percentage of received damage back to the attacker, scaling up to 70% return damage against high-drag-weight creatures. It also gains a pack bonus of +5% melee damage per nearby allied Kentrosaurus, capping at four allies. Kentrosaurus is a herbivore; prefers regular kibble. Tamed via knockout; low torpor makes tranq arrows sufficient and knockdown is quick. Highly territorial in groups in the wild. Can carry substantial weight — players can stand or crouch on its back.

The tail spike impale is a standard melee attack — no special key needed. Damage reflection is entirely passive and requires no player input. Pack bonus activates automatically when allied Kentros are within range. Stack Kentros together (set some to wander, some stationary around your base) to maximize reflection and pack DPS. Level Health to maximize survivability and increase the damage reflected (higher incoming hits mean more returned). Level Melee Damage to amplify both the impale attack and reflection returns. Stack four or more Kentros together — the pack bonus combined with a Yutyrannus Courage buff and mate boost creates serious DPS output for boss fights. They are particularly effective against large creatures with high damage output like Giganotosaurus, which reflect enormous damage back on themselves.

Base defense (passive herd with automatic reflection), boss fights (pack DPS stacking), countering large aggressive dinos (Giganotosaurus, Rexes), escort/combat support.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Kentro_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Kentrosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Kentro_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Kentro_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Kentrosaurus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
