ARK Lava Elemental Spawn Command

Throws molten rocks at players dealing fire damage, and can melee attack anything it can reach along arena edges. It provides an Alpha buff to nearby creatures despite not being classified as an alpha. Its base health is approximately 60,000, and it scales upward with additional players in the session (+10 levels per additional player, starting at minimum level 10). Lava Elemental is a n/a — untameable boss, consumes minerals. Located in the Lava Elemental Arena, accessible through the Jungle Dungeon on Ragnarok. Applies an Alpha creature buff to nearby creatures even though it is not technically classified as an alpha. Health and level scale per player in the session.

Not tameable — encountered as an optional boss in the Lava Elemental Arena, accessible via the Jungle Dungeon on Ragnarok. It awakens upon arena entry and is purely an enemy encounter. Players fight it; it has no player-controlled mechanics. Fight from high ledges where it cannot reach you with melee. Aim for its arm or hand — the wiki specifies these as the most damage-receptive body parts. Use Rocket Launchers (three or more recommended), Tek Rifles, or a high-level imprinted Velonasaur. Avoid melee weapons — the wiki describes their effectiveness as 'massively reduced.' A Tek Shield can reflect its projectiles back, dealing up to 15,000 damage. If you stand between its legs, it almost never lands a hit due to hitbox geometry. Avoid the lava pool at all costs — contact deals 5,000 true damage (effectively an instant kill).

Optional boss encounter on Ragnarok; defeating it yields loot crates and high-quality gear. Not required for main progression.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon LavaGolem_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Lava Elemental in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "LavaGolem_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "LavaGolem_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Lava Elemental at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
