ARK Leech Spawn Command

Blood-draining attachment: when a Leech contacts a player or tame in melee range, it latches on and continuously drains health and stamina. It can also transmit Swamp Fever disease to humans and Dodos on contact. Up to six Leeches can attach simultaneously. Leech is a sanguinivore (blood-feeding); tamed specimens require no feeding. Tamed only via Fish Basket. Found in swamps on The Island and in the Swamp Cave; spawn rates spike during rain. Amphibious creatures and aquatic natives are immune to Leech attachment. Leeches produce no feces.

Leeches cannot be ridden or conventionally commanded. They are tamed only via Fish Basket and kept for utility purposes (primarily Leech Blood harvesting). To remove an attached Leech from yourself, press and hold the Use key (E by default), or walk into fire. Bug Repellant makes you invisible to Leeches even on contact — they will not attach at all. Kill them with a Pick for Leech Blood, which is a crafting ingredient for the Lesser Antidote (the cure for Swamp Fever). Leech Blood also functions as fishing bait, attracting Coelacanths, Sabertooth Salmon, and Piranhas. Wild Dodos can be deliberately infected with Swamp Fever via Leech contact and used as biological weapons in raids — only humans and Dodos contract the disease. Leech spawn rates increase during rain events — plan swamp travel accordingly.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Leech_Character_C to spawn a wild Leech in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Leech_Character_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Leech_Character_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). summon drops a wild Leech at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
