ARK Gallimimus Spawn Command

Exceptional base movement speed and a 3-passenger saddle — the rider in the center controls the mount while two additional passengers (one forward-facing, one rear-facing) can simultaneously fire weapons and use items. It is one of very few mounts that can carry multiple armed riders. Gallimimus is a herbivore. One of the fastest land mounts in the game. Tamed with Simple Kibble (preferred) after knockout. A Bear Trap is nearly mandatory during taming to prevent it from fleeing. Found across most maps including The Island.

Passengers mount by walking up to the Gallimimus and pressing E to take a seat. The saddle has three fixed positions; there is no radial menu activation. Movement and combat for each seat happen through normal player controls. The Gallimimus itself has no special activated ability beyond its speed; there is no sprint toggle separate from normal run — its base movement speed is simply very high. All level points into Movement Speed make the Gallimimus effectively too fast to catch in the game. Its base movement speed is always 100% regardless of tame level — leveling Speed compounds from that high baseline. It has low Health and no combat bite, so it is a pure escape and transport mount, not a fighter. Use the 3-seat saddle to field a mobile gun platform: driver drives, two passengers shoot. Bear Traps are essential during taming due to its extreme speed. Use a Longneck Rifle for the KO — its low health means a Crossbow will frequently kill it before torpor takes hold.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Galli_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Gallimimus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Galli_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use cheat gmsummon "Galli_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Gallimimus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
