ARK Featherlight Spawn Command

A shoulder-pet light creature that emits Charge Light, the only tameable light pet in ARK that can also fly. Its Charge Light protects survivors from Nameless creature ambushes and weakens Reapers, and it has the highest Charge Emission Range of any light pet — covering threats at greater distance than Bulbdog, Shinehorn, or Glowtail. Featherlight is a omnivore (eats plant species z seed as preferred food; also accepts featherlight mushroom). Found exclusively on Aberration. Passive tame — feed it Plant Species Z Seeds or its specific mushroom. It is the only tameable light pet that can fly, making it substantially faster than Bulbdog, Shinehorn, or Glowtail.

Place it on your shoulder by pressing E while facing it. To toggle the charge light on/off while it is on your shoulder, hold the emote wheel key (default: hold either bracket key [ or ]) and select the 'Light!' emote. Alternatively, access the shoulder pet's radial menu. The light auto-drains Charge Capacity when on; Charge regenerates when the light is off. Prioritize raising one with high Charge Capacity and Charge Regeneration if you need sustained light in deep Aberration. The Featherlight's uniquely wide emission radius means it keeps Nameless at bay even when they spawn at a distance. Because it can fly, it is far faster than other light pets and can follow the player onto a Rock Drake or Wyvern where most shoulder pets struggle to keep up. It can also wear helmets (unlike most flyers), granting temporary damage resistance in prolonged fights — expensive but real.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon LanternBird_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Featherlight in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "LanternBird_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "LanternBird_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

Yes. The builder above generates a single SpawnExactDino command that bakes the level and the imprint into one copy-paste line. The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). To set its colours, spawn it first, then use the ARK Dino Color Builder to build the SetTargetDinoColor commands (with a live preview).

summon drops a wild Featherlight at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
