Spawn a wild Eurypterid
cheat summon Euryp_Character_C
Open the console with ~, paste, hit Enter. All Eurypterid commands ↓ — tamed, leveled, variants, one-tap copy.

Spawn a tamed Eurypterid at any level

gmsummon spawns it already tamed. Set the level below — it's the pre-tame level, and ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus on top, so the final creature lands higher. Change the number, copy, paste.

cheat gmsummon "Euryp_Character_C" 150
≈ level 225 once tamed

A gmsummon-tamed Eurypterid still needs a saddle — it isn't force-tamed. Want it instantly, level aside? Use cheat SummonTamed Euryp_Character_C (random level).

On a server, every line needs the cheat prefix and a one-time enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword>. The class name Euryp_Character_C is what ARK calls the Eurypterid internally; its full blueprint path is /Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Eurypterid/Euryp_Character.Euryp_Character.

ARK Eurypterid FAQ — Ability, Uses & Spawn Commands

What does the Eurypterid do in ARK?
A passive underwater arthropod with a potent venomous sting that can knock out both survivors and creatures. Tamed Eurypterids passively generate Silica Pearls and Black Pearls directly in their inventory over time. Eurypterid is a carnivore. Not normally tameable in vanilla ARK (they cannot be knocked out), though ARK: Survival Ascended introduced direct rideability for size 1.0+ individuals. They spawn in ocean floors, underwater caves, and kelp forests. Preferred taming food is Simple Kibble in the No Untameables mod context; the base game variant is not conventionally tameable.
How do you use the Eurypterid's ability in ARK?
Wild Eurypterids attack on contact. Tamed ones can be ridden in ARK: Survival Ascended if they are size 1.0 or larger, and their sting functions as a standard melee attack input while mounted. The Black Pearl and Silica Pearl generation is fully passive — no activation required, just check inventory periodically. Level Melee Damage to improve torpor delivery for taming support. Their low health means they are best used as passive resource producers at a base or as an underwater taming aid rather than frontline fighters. Their high torpor output relative to their damage makes them excellent for subduing large ocean creatures without killing them.
What is the Eurypterid good for in ARK?
Passive Black Pearl and Silica Pearl farming (produced in inventory), underwater taming assist (high torpor, low damage), KO utility in ocean environments.
What is the Eurypterid spawn command in ARK?
Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Euryp_Character_C to spawn a wild Eurypterid in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Euryp_Character_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.
How do I spawn a tamed Eurypterid at a specific level?
Use cheat gmsummon "Euryp_Character_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level — ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.
What's the difference between summon, SummonTamed and gmsummon?
summon drops a wild Eurypterid at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify — the one most people want.
Do ARK spawn commands work in single player and on servers?
Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
