ARK Electrophorus Spawn Command

Delivers an electric shock attack that deals damage three times in succession and applies the Electrocuted status effect, reducing the target's melee damage output and movement speed. Pack coordination multiplies effectiveness — a group of 7 or more grants a +6 damage bonus on top of base damage. Electrophorus is a carnivore. Taming is passive only — approach and feed; they cannot be knocked unconscious (torpor immune). Preferred taming food is Bio Toxin, followed by Raw Mutton. Cannot produce feces and can be carried by Tusoteuthis.

The shock is triggered via the standard primary attack input while mounted (left-click / RT / R2). It recharges every 10 seconds. The bite attack (available every 0.67 seconds) deals low damage but inflicts torpor on targets. No radial menu activation required — both attacks are direct mount inputs. Prioritize Health and Melee Damage when leveling. The creature's true strength is in numbers: field a pack of 7+ for the maximum +6 pack bonus. Use at underwater base entrances paired with auto-turrets so the speed/damage debuff cripples attackers before turrets finish them. The electrical debuff also helps tame large ocean creatures by suppressing their retaliatory damage. A Basilosaurus mount is recommended for the player managing eels, since it is immune to electrical effects.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Eel_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Electrophorus in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Eel_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Eel_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

The saddle comes as a separate cheat gfi command (it can't ride inside the spawn). summon drops a wild Electrophorus at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
