ARK Thylacoleo Spawn Command

Can climb vertical surfaces (trees, walls, cliffs) by jumping and holding the jump key against the surface, then flip upside-down while clinging to pounce on targets below — immobilizing small-to-medium creatures and players. Its bite applies the Gnashed bleed status, draining 5% of the target's total health over 5 seconds, bypassing armor. Thylacoleo is a carnivore. Found in Redwood forests where it spawns clinging to trees — it will leap off the tree and pin riders off flying mounts smaller than a Quetzal. Tamed with Extraordinary Kibble via knockout; torpor drains very fast so maintain steady tranq fire.

Jump (default jump key) and hold it when contacting a vertical surface to begin climbing. While clinging, rotate the camera downward — the Thylacoleo flips and a targeting reticle appears. Press the primary attack key to launch the pounce; a successful hit pins the target. Release the pin with the secondary attack key (Alt Attack). The pounce itself deals 30 damage; mauling deals 40 per hit in a 3-attack sequence. Critically: pounce and maul damage are NOT boosted by leveling Melee Damage. The regular bite (primary attack on the ground) applies Gnashed and IS the main damage dealer — level Melee Damage to increase the bleed frequency and bite damage. The Gnashed bleed (5% of target's max health per 5 seconds) makes the Thylacoleo a specialist for high-health targets: Giganotosaurus, Alpha T-Rexes, Rock Elementals, and Titanosaurs. Pair with a Yutyrannus for the Courage Roar buff and a Mammoth for damage reduction bellow. For Titanosaurs specifically, position underneath the belly just ahead of the rear legs to avoid knockback while attacking. Titans on Extinction are immune to the bleed. The bleed stacks with Deinonychus bleed for a potent combo. Level Melee Damage (increases bite damage and bleed up-time), Health, and saddle quality. Torpor depletion after knockout is very high — keep narcotics ready.

Combat specialist against high-health and heavily armored targets; Alpha creature slaying; Giganotosaurus and Titanosaur killing; PvP ambush (mounts from trees, dismounts riders); tree-to-tree traversal in Redwood biomes; drops Thylacoleo Hook-Claws needed for boss tribute.

Open the console with ~ and enter cheat summon Thylacoleo_Character_BP_C to spawn a wild Thylacoleo in ARK: Survival Ascended. For a tamed one at a level you choose, use cheat gmsummon "Thylacoleo_Character_BP_C" 150. On a server, run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> first and keep the cheat prefix.

Use the builder above, or cheat gmsummon "Thylacoleo_Character_BP_C" <level>. The number is the pre-tame level. ARK adds up to a 50% taming bonus, so a value of 100 ends up around level 150. To hit a target level, divide it by 1.5. A gmsummon creature still needs a saddle to ride.

summon drops a wild Thylacoleo at a random level. SummonTamed gives you a tamed one but at a random level you can't set. gmsummon spawns it tamed at the level you specify, the one most people want.

Yes. In single player the cheat prefix is optional and no password is needed. On a dedicated or non-dedicated session you must run enablecheats <ServerAdminPassword> once, then prefix each spawn with cheat. Set that admin password without hand-editing files using our free ARK config generators.
