Satisfactory Console Commands

Here's the honest version: Satisfactory's console handles FOV, FPS and graphics — not cheats. The toggles people actually want — no build cost, flight, god mode, free items — live in the Creative Mode menu (called Advanced Game Settings before Patch 1.2). This page covers both, and which one you actually need. Search, copy, paste.

How to Open the Console & Enable Cheats

1

Open the console: press ` (backtick) / ~ / §. Press once for a one-line bar, again for the larger window (some commands need it). If the key does nothing, add ConsoleKeys=F6 under [/Script/Engine.InputSettings] in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\Config\Windows\Input.ini. The console is on by default and doesn't disable achievements.

2

For the real cheats, enable Creative Mode: on a new game click the Creative Mode button; on an existing save tick Enable Creative Mode on the Load Game screen, then confirm the warning. This permanently disables achievements for that save and can't be undone.

3

Achievement-safe tuning: the separate Game Modes menu (new game only) changes cost, power and world-randomization multipliers without disabling achievements — but it has no god / flight / free-build toggles.

The #1 gotcha — the console is not a cheat menu. Commands like Fly, God, GiveItem and Teleport show up in autocomplete but do nothing in Satisfactory. The real cheats are Creative Mode / Advanced Game Settings toggles (below), and turning that on disables achievements for the save. Most r.* graphics tweaks also reset when you close the game unless you save them to Engine.ini.

Creative Mode Cheats (Advanced Game Settings)

These are not console commands — they're toggles in the in-game Creative Mode menu (called Advanced Game Settings before Patch 1.2). This is where the cheats people actually want live. Enabling Creative Mode permanently disables achievements for the save.

SettingScopeWhat it does
No Build CostPersonalBuilding and customizing cost nothing; dismantling returns nothing.
Flight ModePersonalUnlimited flight by double-tapping Space.
God ModePersonalInvincible to all damage except the world border.
Keep InventoryPersonalChoose what stays in your inventory when you die.
Give ItemsPersonalHand-pick items and stacks straight into your inventory.
No PowerAll playersBuildings run without power.
No FuelAll playersVehicles and generators need no fuel.
No Unlock CostAll playersMilestones, MAM research, AWESOME Shop and Project Assembly phases cost nothing.
Unlock Alternative Recipes InstantlyAll playersAlt recipes unlock the moment their conditions are met.
Set Starting TierNew gameBegin at a higher progression tier.
Set Game Phase / Unlock All TiersProgressionJump the Project Assembly phase or unlock all tiers.
Unlock All Research in MAMProgressionAll MAM research unlocked.
Unlock All in AWESOME ShopProgressionAll AWESOME Shop items unlocked.
Disable Arachnid CreaturesAll playersStingers (spiders) don't spawn. (There's also a separate arachnophobia-mode toggle in normal Settings.)

There's no "unlimited inventory slots" cheat — extra slots come from normal Inventory research in the MAM, not a Creative Mode toggle. The cheat-adjacent equivalent is No Build Cost + Give Items.

Satisfactory Console Commands FAQ

What do Satisfactory console commands do?
Mostly FOV, FPS counters and graphics / render tweaks (FOV, Stat FPS, r.ViewDistanceScale, r.Fog) plus debug readouts. They are not cheats — Fly, God and GiveItem appear in autocomplete but don't function.
How do I cheat in Satisfactory?
Enable Creative Mode (the menu formerly called Advanced Game Settings) when starting a new game, or via "Enable Creative Mode" on a save you load. That's where No Build Cost, No Power, Flight and God Mode live. It permanently disables achievements on that save.
What is Advanced Game Settings in Satisfactory?
It's Satisfactory's built-in cheat menu. It was renamed Advanced Game Settings → Creative Mode in Patch 1.2.0.0; the toggles and the achievement penalty are unchanged, so older guides calling it "Advanced Game Settings" describe the same menu.
Can I cheat without losing achievements?
Not with Creative Mode. But the separate Game Modes menu (new game only) lets you change cost / power multipliers and world randomization without disabling achievements — it just doesn't include flight, god mode or free building.
